ADC opens free online membership registration nationwide
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has commenced free online membership registration across the country ahead of the 2027 general election.
In a statement signed by Bolaji Abdullahi, national publicity secretary of the party, the ADC said the digital platform is part of its ongoing membership registration and revalidation exercise launched last month in Abuja.
The party said the online portal is designed to meet the requirements of the Electoral Act 2026 regarding digital membership registers.
The ADC said only individuals whose membership details are fully captured and verified in the party’s official digital register will be eligible to vote or be voted for in its primaries.
The party added that manual registration will continue simultaneously across the country.
“The new digital registration platform, accessible via www.adcregistration.ng is designed to enable the party meet the requirements of the new Electoral Act 2026, regarding digital membership register,” the statement reads.
Accordingly, only individuals whose membership details are fully captured and verified in the Party’s official digital register will be eligible to vote or be voted for in the Party’s primaries.”
The party said it has recorded strong interest from Nigerians across states and in the diaspora since the launch of its physical and grassroots membership exercise in February.
Introduction of the free online option is designed to remove barriers to entry, simplify enrolment, and ensure that every eligible Nigerian who wishes to identify with the ADC can do so seamlessly and securely,” the party said.
The ADC said members who registered on its previous platform are required to revalidate their membership on the new digital portal to ensure compliance with the Electoral Act and guidelines issued by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The party also encouraged support groups and associations to register through the portal and complete the onboarding process.
