FG Debunks Report of Nationwide School Closure Over Abductions
The Federal Ministry of Education has dismissed a circulating report claiming that schools across the country have been ordered to shut down following recent student abductions.
In a statement released on Saturday, November 22, the ministry described the alleged directive as false and misleading, noting that the purported circular did not emanate from the Federal Government, the Ministry of Education, any state education authority, or any recognised security agency.
The disclaimer, signed by the ministry’s spokesperson, Folasade Boriowo, urged the public to disregard the rumour and rely solely on verified information from official government channels.
