Lil Durk, American rapper arrested over ‘murder-for-hire’ plot

American rapper, Lil Durk has been reportedly arrested in South Florida and charged with murder-for-hire.

This in connection to the 2022 killing of Saviay’a Robinson, cousin of rapper Quando Rondo.

Robinson was fatally shot in Los Angeles, and authorities believe the incident is linked to ongoing gang disputes.

The five other suspects arrested and charged with murder-for-hire and conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire are Kavon London Grant, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsey, and Asa Houston.
Prosecutors allegye that these individuals sought retaliation against Quando Rondo for his suspected involvement in the 2020 murder of Chicago rapper King Von in Atlanta.

Lil Durk, born Durk Banks, is being held without bond at Broward County Jail, awaiting transfer to U.S. Marshals, according to XXL Magazine.

The investigation is ongoing as federal authorities continue to gather evidence in this high-profile case.
