Tinubu is restructuring not diving Nigeria, says Air Peace boss

The Chairman and CEO of Air Peace, Allen Onyema, met with President Bola Tinubu at the State House in Abuja on Thursday to discuss advancements under the Renewed Hope Agenda in Nigeria’s aviation sector.

In a statement shared on Friday, Onyema lauded the President for policies designed to stabilize business operations nationwide, particularly within aviation.

He highlighted Tinubu’s strides in enhancing the ease of doing business and implementing reforms through Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development.

Onyema expressed optimism about the administration’s ability to bring lasting stability to the industry.

While acknowledging the current economic challenges, he emphasized that the President’s reforms would yield long-term benefits for the nation.

He further called on Nigerians to support the government’s initiatives and encourage indigenous investments.

“The President is a businessman, and he is trying to stabilise businesses with his policies, but people don’t realise this. Some of us in business understand what the President is trying to do, and we appreciate him, especially in the aviation industry,” Onyema said.

He added, “What he is doing is the real restructuring of the country. Many Nigerians think restructuring means dividing the country along regional lines, but what Tinubu is doing is genuine restructuring by changing how we operate as a nation to achieve better results in the long term.”
