Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has sent warm Christmas greetings to the Christian community in the state, calling for unity, love, and collective efforts toward the development of Borno.

In a message delivered by his spokesperson, Dauda Iliya, on Wednesday, Zulum encouraged Christians to embrace the spirit of the season by promoting kindness, forgiveness, and good relationships with their neighbors.

“On behalf of the Borno State Government, I extend warm greetings to my Christian brothers and sisters on this joyous occasion,” Zulum said. “I pray for a peaceful and prosperous celebration and encourage all citizens to support the less privileged and foster stronger relationships across all communities.”

Governor Zulum emphasized the importance of collective action in rebuilding the state, which has faced challenges from conflict and natural disasters.

“The task of rebuilding Borno is a collective one,” he stated. “I am dedicated to leading efforts that will transform the state and elevate its citizens to the path of prosperity.”

He highlighted his administration’s focus on recovery programs, including post-conflict and post-flood initiatives, aimed at improving living standards for the people.

Zulum reaffirmed his commitment to quality leadership and sustainable growth in Borno State. He praised the Christian community for maintaining peace and unity, which he said were essential for progress.

“I deeply appreciate the Christian community for their role in fostering peace and unity across the state,” Zulum said.

The governor also urged all citizens to remain law-abiding throughout the festive season and beyond.
