I helped rescue a woman and her four children, who were taken to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention,” he said.

The injured victims were rushed to St. Theresa Hospital in Issele-Uku, Delta State, for treatment.

Gwanishu described their condition as critical and urged the public to help locate the victims’ families.

“The rescued mother and her children are currently receiving treatment at St. Theresa Hospital, Issele-Uku. Families of the victims can find the hospital from Asaba by stopping at Issele-Uku Junction,” he stated.

Gwanishu also used the incident to caution travelers to prioritize safety during their journeys, particularly during the busy holiday season.

“As we approach the Christmas holidays, I appeal to travelers to always caution their drivers to exercise patience and avoid reckless driving. Let’s prioritize safety on our roads,” he advised.
